Below we provide the Procedure for submitting applications for the employment and contract extension of an academic teacher following a competitive process and without a competitive process.

Procedure for Submitting Applications for Employment and Extension of Academic Teacher Contracts

and Employment Application Forms:

Form No. 1: Application for announcing a competition
Form No. 2: Application for employing an academic teacher without a competition
Form No. 3:Application for extending the employment of an academic teacher without a competition

In accordance with Article 119(1) of the Act on Higher Education and Science, 'the establishment of the first employment relationship with an academic teacher at a given public university, for an indefinite period or a fixed term longer than 3 months, in a workload exceeding half of the full-time workload, occurs after an open competition. The procedure and conditions for conducting the competition are specified in the statute.'

In the event that an academic teacher receives a positive evaluation, as referred to in Article 128 of the Act, an employment contract for an indefinite period may be concluded without the competition referred to in Article 119.
