DEAR STUDENTS!


The Office for Persons with Disabilities (BON) at Wrocław Medical University supports the activities of the Rector's Representative for bachelor, master and PhD degree students.


The main goal of the Office is to ensure that students have equal access to educational opportunities, campus life and employment at our university. We offer various services tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS AND PHD STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES


The university offers various forms of support for people with special needs:

  • support for candidates in the admission process,
  • creation of conditions that accelerate the handling of administrative matters, e.g. in dean's offices,
  • appropriate adaptation of university infrastructure,
  • scholarships for disabled people,
  • support in the didactic process (adaptation and availability of teaching materials, foreign language
    learning, physical education classes),
  • ensuring the availability of the learning verification process,
  • support in conducting scientific research,
  • providing support services, including assistants, specialised transport,
  • psychological consultations (also remotely),
  • rental of assistive technologies (special equipment and software) for people with visual, hearing and movement impairments,
  • access to portable FM sets, induction loops,
  • ensuring full participation of the academic community in cultural and sports events,
  • ensuring an accessible work environment,
  • organisation of training, integration trips, conferences,
  • cooperation with organisations supporting people with special needs.
