Wrocław Medical University has been participating in the implementation of the
programme (formerly Socrates-Erasmus, LLP-Erasmus) since 1998/1999.
Since the academic year 2021/2022, the Erasmus+ Higher Education Action 1
learning mobility programme has been implemented at the university:
Mobility of students and staff of higher education institutions (131): Member
States of the European Union and third countries associated to the Programme, third
countries not associated to the Programme
Mobility of students and staff (171): third countries not associated to the
Programme


Implemented activities:


 Long-term and short-term mobility (obligatory virtual component- optional in
the case of PhD students) of students for studies (SMS)
Long-term and short-term mobility (obligatory virtual component- optional for
PhD students) of students/graduates for internship (SMT)
Mobility of academic staff to teach at the host university and visits of staff from
foreign companies to teach at the applicant university (STA)
Employee mobility for training (STT) Organisation of Blended Intensive
Programmes (BIP)
Arrivals of students and staff from partner universities


The rules of recruitment of the programme are regulated by:


Ordinance No. 17/XV R/2019 of 27 February 2019 as amended.
From the academic year 2014/2015 to 2020/2021, the programme was
implemented on the basis of the ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) card
awarded to Wrocław Medical University for the years 2014-2020.
Each student going on a scholarship or internship under the Erasmus
programme receives an Erasmus PL Student Card, which defines their rights and
obligations.


By the decision of the European Commission, Wrocław Medical University has
received a new Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the years 2021-2027.

Until the academic year 2020/2021, Erasmus+ students in a difficult financial

In order to adopt the appropriate rate, depending on the distance travelled, the
Beneficiary will indicate the distance of the one-way journey, using the on-line calculator
available at the European Commission (EC) website:

Travel expenses (lump sum)- students:
Only short-term mobility of students and graduates meeting the definition of
'people with fewer opportunities' and long-term mobility of students and graduates to
Partner Countries under KA131 projects, with the exception of countries from regions 13
and 14.
Rates calculated based on the distance calculator.
Region 13: Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City; Region 14: Switzerland, United
Kingdom, Faroe Islands
Green travel
➢ Students and recent graduates who do not receive travel support are entitled to
receive a grant for meeting the requirements related to 'green travel', i.e. the use
of sustainable means of transport. In this case, they will receive one-off support
of €50 in addition to the individual support and in addition to the individual
support of up to 4 days for the return trip, if applicable.

● 31May2024-for winter semester, for the whole academic year
● 30November 2024– for summer semester
After you upload documents from SECOND STEP successfully, you will be able to
upload the remaining required documents.


The THIRD STEP
Upload other documents (until 15 September 2024 for 1st semester and whole year)
and (until 31 January 2025 for the second semester and for summer traineeship):
● learning agreement signed by the student,the right coordinator from Home Institution, the
right coordinator from Host Institution.
● scanof id card (or passport)
● scanof European Health Insurance Card or any relevant one
● scanof original confirmation of accident insurance
● scanof original liability insurance (mandatory for traineeships, optional for studies)
● scanof Erasmus+ status certificate (issued by your home university)
● scanof student's statement


The FOURTH STEP
Come to the Erasmus Office personally (bring with you confirmation of payment
for student card).
When your student's card is ready, you will be informed about the date to collect it.

A student's ID card (legitymacja studencka) is the document which enables you to:
borrow books from the library,
obtain discounts on public transport, cinema and museum tickets etc.
It costs 22 ZLOTY and you can get your Student ID card in the Erasmus+ Office  but only if you pay for it.
