Occupational Health, Sanitary-Epidemiological Tests, and Hepatitis B Vaccination:
The website where you can download referrals for tests is the Virtual University. If you haven't done so already, create a profile on the Virtual University – the address for profile creation and login is https://wu.umw.edu.pl.
It is worth reviewing the list of facilities in Lower Silesia that will perform tests for free. Sanitary-epidemiological tests should be carried out at the Microbiological Laboratory of the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Wrocław in October. The examination and vaccination should be done by your primary care physician based on the referral downloaded from the Virtual University. Certificates should be submitted to the dean's office depending on the faculty or brought with you on the orientation day. In case of a worsening epidemiological situation, these guidelines may change.
LIST OF LOWER SILESIAN FACILITIES WHERE YOU CAN GET FREE TESTS
Health and Safety Training and Test: The Health and Safety Training will be conducted online in the second half of October and will last approximately 4 hours. It will conclude with a test that every student is required to pass. To pass, you must answer 80% of the questions correctly. You can scroll through the test, return to previous questions, and slides. To take the test, you must first create an email address with the domain student.umw.edu.pl, as the activation link for the training will be sent to this mailbox. Each faculty will have a separate designated date.
Student ID Card and mLegitymacja: The fee for the student ID card is 22 PLN. It should be paid to an individually generated bank account number, which can be found in the 'Agreement on the Terms of Payment for Educational Services and Other Fees Related to Higher Education.' In the transfer, specify: the purpose of the payment (student ID fee), the student's name, and the field of study. Depending on the faculty, you will receive the ID card on the orientation day or collect it from the dean's office. The mLegitymacja for UMW students is available in the mObywatel application. It is a student ID on your phone that works like a traditional document. By showing it on the smartphone screen, you can confirm your student status and use discounts and exemptions. Applications for issuing mLegitymacja can be submitted by students who have a valid student ID and Polish citizenship through the website: https://mlegitymacja.umw.edu.pl.
