The Polish złoty is the official currency of Poland. It is abbreviated as PLN and is subdivided into 100 groszy. The currency has banknotes in denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 złoty, and coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5 złoty and 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 groszy. The złoty is issued and regulated by the National Bank of Poland.
